About this year's ESPC Caregiver Conference

Caregivers/Family Members: Join us on Wednesday, October 2, for a special pre-EXPO event at the beautiful Frederick Health Village, located at 1 Frederick Health Way, Frederick, MD 21701.



From 4 pm to 6 pm, visit the vendor booths without the large crowds of EXPO day. You will have the chance to talk directly with our 67 vendors, learn about their Senior services and products, and ask questions in a quieter, non-rushed atmosphere. With ample seating and table space, you will also be able to enjoy a free boxed meal.

At 6 pm, our presentations will begin in the comfortable conference rooms adjacent to the exhibit halls.

Our focus this year is on the Making Difficult Decisions as a Caregiver. 

  • Julie Peat Cassiday, Founder of Tanglewood Life Coaching and former caregiver herself, will share her perspectives on “The Caregiver’s Dilemma: The What and How of Self Care”.
  • Dr. Tamara Kile, Medical Director of Care Management at Frederick Health Hospital, who will share, “A Playbook for Navigating the Emergency Department and Hospital Experience.”
  • Maryland Legal Aid Staff Attorney, who will discuss “Planning Ahead: The Importance of Drafting Wills, Advance Medical Directors, and Powers of Attorney.”

   We conclude the evening at approximately 8:30 pm.

This event is free and open to all caregivers, but registration is required.
